Like a dish sponge

I'm not even a sausage lover, but I thought the sausage was pretty tasty. The French toast, however (which is why I bought it) was HORRIBLE! It was like eating a dried up, rubbery old dish sponge with sugary syrup on top. I won't buy this again. I wish they'd rework this recipe for mornings when I don't have time to make the real thing. I wonder if ANYone taste-tested it before it went to market!

The sausage is great! The bread not so much. It is kind of hard. I will buy it again though.
